With the winter challenges of getting together there will not be a mid-week centralized Bible study BUT….
We will use the RIGHT NOW MEDIA video bible study on Colossians with Louie Giglio as a ‘church-wide’ opportunity to be on the same page together:
- Everyone can watch the 8 sessions of the teaching/input at their own convenience at home
- There will also be a group bible study session starting on Jan 15, 7PM at Art and Jeanette's for anyone who would prefer a group study (every other week)
- A handout for each of the sessions will be provided to everyone
- Everyone will be encouraged to form a smaller study cell to get together during January to March on a schedule that can suit them
- The adult Sunday School class will follow the theme of Colossians for these three months

The 3 ‘fellowship Sundays’ of January/February/March will have a fellowship meal after the morning service:
- January 26 – soup and sandwich
- March 1 – potluck followed by Annual Meeting (POSTPONED, Annual Meeting moved to Feb 15)
- March 29 – chili challenge (CANCELLED)
Pastor Laurie will use these three months to have ‘in home’ visits with as many of our congregation as possible
- He will make most Saturdays his ‘Seaforth Day’
- A schedule will be posted so that visits can be arranged on a schedule that works for all of the church families
- This will mean that Pastor Laurie will not have to travel home during the evenings during the winter
- Anne will accompany him on a few of the Saturdays
The congregation will be encouraged to have informal get togethers ‘in home’ or ‘going out together’ with others in our fellowship so that we have connected with those we may not know well yet!
