Summer of 2018 is shaping up to be a busy one for Bethel Bible Church! Here is an overview of what to look forward to this summer. We hope you can join us!
We will be kicking off the summer with our annual Sunday School and Family Picnic on June 24 July 15. This event marks the end of Sunday School for the summer with a potluck, fellowship and fun!
Next, we have a special Canada Day Sunday morning service at the Victoria Park Bandshell on July 1. This service will see a special return of our fondly remembered men's choir, and a Canada Day themed message from Pastor Laurie. This Sunday also marks the return of our summer schedule for Sunday morning worship, which starts at 10AM (Sunday morning worship services will resume at 11AM in September).
The first 5 Saturdays of summer will also mark the first Huron County Outdoor Gospel Music Festival, being held at the Bandshell in Victoria Park in the heart of Seaforth. Each concert will start at 7 p.m. and will feature different styles of gospel music. So bring your lawn chairs and join us in Victoria Park this summer in what we hope will be the first of many years of summer gospel music concerts in downtown Seaforth.
Then, in August, your children are welcome to attend our annual Vacation Bible School, running from Aug 13-17. This year's theme is 'Game On!'. Plans and preparation are well underway to make this another memorable year of games, crafts, music, bible lessons and fun. We invite you to register your children (JK-Grade 6) in advance HERE.
Lastly, we will end VBS week and the summer season with our 4th annual VBS carnival on August 17. Open and free to all, we have a community BBQ, refreshments, games and prizes planned for an exciting night out for all ages!
